Tropicana Power is a division of Tropicana Enterprises Pvt Ltd, founded in 1981 by J R Desai, then Chairman and Managing Director, Kelvinator of India, as its marketing arm.
During the course of time Tropicana seeing the changing environment and fast changing technology and went in for telecom products required for networking and are now seeing the tremendous growth in power sector the company has now decided to go in for SMF VRLA batteries.
During its expansion program it ventured into Telecom & Lifestyle products & entered into collaboration with leading brands for catering Telecom & Lifestyle products.
Tropicana Telecom has technical and commercial tie-ups with the world's leading telecommunication giants, mainly from USA, Canada, Taiwan and Israel in providing telecom products and services in India and neighboring countries.
Tropicana Enterprise is founded and headed by Mr. J R Desai, a pioneer in India for refrigeration technology who headed kelvinator of India and went on to become first ever chairman and managing director of Whirlpool India.
